I have lived in Ogden my entire life (40 years!) and feel so incredibly blessed to have been born in this beautiful part of the world! The beauty of our surrounding mountain range that literally sits in our backyards, and the rich history of Ogden just can’t be beat! Ogden’s mountains are so incredible, they hosted several events in the 2002 Olympic Winter Games! Only 35 miles North of Salt Lake City, Ogden is worth stopping in for a ski, a hike or a historic walk of 25th Street and Union Station.
I am PASSIONATE about my hometown and helping you explore one of the most beautiful and historically rich cities in the world! In its heyday as the Junction City of the FIRST Transcontinental Railroad in the United States, Ogden connected not only the Nation but the world in a capacity that had never been done before. With this transformation, this once small Mormon farming community, earned a worldwide reputation as “The most sinful town in America,” with all sorts of brothels, saloons, underground tunnels and organized crime running this crossroads of the America.
Things have come a long way for Ogden, as it now has become a top attraction for outdoor enthusiast due to its jaw-dropping Olympic Mountain range.
